Opened yesterday. Notes from Day 2 open. This wine has no right to be this good. On the nose: lovely cherry, wild strawberry, cardamom, cinnamon, soft soy...fantastic complexity. On the palate, fantastic acidity, sweet wild strawberry, spice, good density, Lovely finish with a touch of white pepper, very soft tannin. So compelling. — 13 days ago
This is a delicious Viognier from Israel. Dry on the palate and fruit forward with limes, lemons, citrus, green apples, minerals and white pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity. Long tangy finish with limes.
Showing nice complexity, crisp and refreshing. Tasty and good by itself or with food. I paired it with a cheese board and olives, by the lake. Kosher.
13.6% alcohol by volume.

Wood, acidity, closed but it is a 2018 so way too young. They ran out of the older vintages. — 7 days ago
Confrérie Des Chevaliers du Tastevin Sous-Commanderie d'Albany; 20 September 2020 at New World Bistro, Albany, NY
Physically Distanced 🚧 but Socially Close 🤗 dinner, our first in +8mo. Following the reasonable NY State dining regulations, seated and masked. While a new experience, it was well worth it to see our core group again. — a month ago
Brilliant wine - fragrance is so enticing with an initial right amount of funk that blows off over a hour to two - Light to medium body - excellent mouthfeel - still needs time but extraordinary red ripe fruit - very Pommard - polished but not the harshness or austerity that many young red burgs I have had of late - needs 2 hours plus decanting for this is a youngster and will improve over 5 years - could be 9.7 then — 19 days ago
Beautiful as always. Some of the primary fruit notes are fading into the background, minerals becoming more prominent. Still, dominated by red fruit wrapped around a core of mineral and acid, though a bit more austere than the last bottle I tried. Intense acid makes this best with food. — 4 days ago
