ruby red color, bright notes of ripe blackberry - great with duck — 9 months ago
Superb Meursault, fresh, elegant, classy yet rich and full with a dense and savoury texture, great length and a finish that leaves us wanting more.
Superbe Meursault, riche, frais, fin, élégant mais riche, plein wt savoureux, une belle densité tout en étant minéral avec une très belle longueur et une finale qui fait qu’on en redemande. 92-93

The Clos Pegase label features Pegasus, painted circa 1890 by the French artist Redon. Pale lemon with aromas of fresh fruit and floral scents. On the palate apple and melon flavors, creamy with pronounced oak and citrus notes. Medium finish, good balance ending with fruit and oak character. Still tasting well. Good value! We just tasted beside a Stags Leap, Pegase won, and it’s $5 cheaper!! Nice!! — 6 years ago

Amazing on the nose - right up my street. A little less amazing on the tongue but still good — 5 years ago
The nose is very nice, red fruits, spices a bit. The palate is fresh and balanced between a nice vivid acidity and fine grained tannins, the fruit is pure, precise and gorgeous. Not the most powerful and concentrated but always fresh and delicious.

Dry and bold with a lingering finish. Oak, tart cherries, and a hint of something that reminds me of really good olive brine. — 6 years ago

Still catching up from two weeks ago. Well wasn’t this quite the joy! Slightly shy upon opening, with more red fruit on the palate. Developed considerably in the glass and bottle, filling out with black fruit and a tight, beautiful tannin core. Seems in a great place right now but with years ahead of it. — 4 days ago
