Overview
Made predominantly from Sangiovese, this Chianti Classico Riserva reflects Tuscany’s classic profile with its red-fruit core, oak aging, and elegant structure. The Riserva designation ensures extended aging (at least 24 months), which adds depth and polish to the wine.

Aromas & Flavors
Plenty of ripe red fruits — cherries, raspberries, and strawberries — framed by subtle vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of spice. A light herbal edge ties it back to its Tuscan roots.

Mouthfeel
Medium-bodied with balanced acidity, lightly firm tannins, and a smooth flow through the finish. The oak adds just enough roundness without overpowering the freshness of the fruit.

Food Pairing
Perfect alongside Tuscan classics like bistecca alla fiorentina, pappardelle with wild boar ragu, or aged pecorino. It also pairs nicely with grilled pork chops or tomato-based pasta dishes.

Vintage 2016 | double magnum | We drank this wine with my tasting friends after winning the Dutch championship blindtasting. Sangiovese tastes really good at that moment. It got more and more creamy in the glass. Paired with several dishes; it was awesome with a steak and frites, but to my surprise it combined really well with mussels in a Thai cocos curry sauce. — 10 months ago
