i Castei Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Corvina Blend

This is a nice Amarone. Showing red and black fruits with wood vanilla earth spices chocolates tobacco mocha and peppercorn.

Dry and fruit forward with a tangy finish.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins (45 minutes).

Simple and good by itself or with food. I paired it with a Filet Mignon and asparagus.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Vintage 2015 | autumn leaves in smell, mediocre taste. I am sorry, but Amarone just is not my type of wine...
