Bursting with blackberry and vanilla, medium-long finish. Just tremendous. Not surprised, as I've appreciated Carol Shelton's deft hand with zinfandel for 20 years. — 3 months ago
Drank at 11yrs. Was very good and tasted at its peak? — 5 months ago
Lovely dark amber color. Beautiful aromas and flavors of caramel, molasses, maple syrup, citrus zest and roasted nuts. Hint of saline on the long and luxurious finish. Sweetness is certainly there but there is also nice minerality (and that hint of saline) that really keeps this Wine extremely well balanced. Fresh and lively. This one makes me wonder why I do not enjoy sherry more often. Thanks again to Kasey and Pete. Happy Birthday, Carol. — 10 months ago
Quite tart and smooth. Not as heavy as a usual Chardonnay, almost like it’s skipping (happy). Very lemony and bright. A hint of peppery spice at the end. Definitely not oaky. — 3 months ago
Blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marianne, Viognier. Crisp with Almond on the palate. January 2023. — 9 months ago
Rhine white with Grenache Blanc mostly. It has good minerality but is softened by the Viognier. From Paso Robles region. — 10 months ago
Punchy, aromatic, mouth filling. Maybe added complexity with its age? Prefered to hush heath during wine tasting with Margie at Carol and Andys. All things good about English summer. — a year ago

Almost perfect! LoireValley x NC = $18 best value ever! This is 6yrs old and absolutely stunning. Fresh cherry, herbs, and voluminous + black cherry slurpy finish! Zero flaws. Sure acid is in balance, never thought that would be a knock - so I will not let it affect my score. The mouth feel is summertime playful and food cleansing power?… had enough verve to cut through hanger steak on the grill :) — 2 months ago
