Another solid vintage of this Sardinian Grenache based wine. Bright ruby color. Beautiful aromas of violets, crushed gravel and dark fruit. The pallet is also full of ripe dark fruit and wild herbs with a hint of Chinese five spice on the finish. Oak is in the background. Well structured, bright acidity and nicely balanced. — 13 days ago
One of our favorite Cannonaus, and this 2020 vintage is delicious. Forward tastes of spice and earthiness, with a long lingering cherry finish. — 4 months ago
Beautiful. Gritty boysenberry but light. Very Grenache — 5 months ago
Nice salinity, with a crisp finish. Perfect for cutting through the richness of paté, and strong enough to stand up to gnocchi bolognese. — 4 months ago

This past Friday night I opened the 2017 Pala Cannonau di Sadengna Reserva. This is a 100% Garnacha from Serdiana, Sardegna, Italy.
On the nose there is strawberry, raspberry, cherry, licorice, tobacco, cinnamon and earth.
On the palate I am finding strawberry, cherry, raspberry, licorice, cinnamon, leather, dried herbs and earth.
This wine is medium to medium + body a nice smooth mouthfeel medium + acidity and medium + grippy tannins that leave you with a long red fruit earthy finish. I hope everyone's weekend was eventful and are looking forward to the week ahead. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 months ago
