Intriguing. Understated. Seductive. Unripe white peach, white flowers, ocean spray, and a bit of smoke. — 4 years ago

Last suitcase wine from brought home from Corsica. On the nose, ruby grapefruit, ocean spray (real ocean, not the juice), minerals. In the mouth, very saline with citrus, white flowers and excellent minerality. Long finish. Solid wine. — 3 years ago
Nice red fruits, vanilla and cracked peppercorn. Solid body and balance. A bit sensitive. Drink now. Don't decant too long (30min) — 4 years ago
Much debate about the pronunciation of “Sciacarello” which our somm helpfully settled by informing us that it’s actually “Shaka-rello”, as in Chaka Khan. Now that’s service! Anyway this was totally awesome, drinks like an aged Pinot or Nebbiolo with lots of umami notes of mushroom and teriyaki. — 3 years ago
Vintage 2012 - wine from #corse #corsican local grapes #nielluciu and #sciaccarello The wine has very clear evolution, giving a rooftile brown rim. The smell of a stable, positive stinking! Also raspberries liquor, plums, a bit dusty impression in taste with a nice bitter at the end. The smell of the wine from these curious grapes reminded me a bit of Burgundy. — 4 years ago
