Bodega Los Berrazales

Los Carneros Pinot Noir 2014

August Sebastiani & brother-in-law, Kendrick Coakley, craft small-lot wines made with minimal intervention, so one can enjoy the truest representation of each appellation & how its terroir impacts specific varietals. Came across this rarity & grabbed a bottle. Aromas of ripe berry fruits & wafts of floral notes. On the palate raspberry & blueberry flavors, sweet cinnamon spice with an edge of tobacco tones. Smooth tannins, lingering ending with soft oaky notes. Great value! Nice! Small production. — 14 days ago

Los Dos Campo de Borja Garnacha Rosé

Great summer wine, silky, light tones of pear & apple, with a slight hint of apricot. It’s truly a delightful summer wine. — 20 days ago

Clos de los Siete Malbec Blend 2017

Interesting blend from seven neighboring vineyards in Argentina, owned by a French wine maker. 52% Malbec, 21% Merlot, 15% Syrah, 7% Cab, 3% petit Verdot, 2% CF. A bit soft for my palate. — 2 days ago

Los Carneros Pinot Noir 2017

Artesa (ahr TESS uh) means "craftsman" and connotes "handcrafted" in Catalan, language of Barcelona and their owner, Codorníu, one of the world's largest and oldest wineries. Ruby with rich berry fruit, citrus and floral spice. On the palate, strawberry and cherry, tangy, with cola and cedar notes adding earthy tones. Bright acidity, soft expressive tannins, long finish ending with mineral and cedar spice. Very nice, drink now & over next 5 years. — a month ago

Bodegas Los Llanos

Pata Negra Vendimia Seleccionada Rioja Tempranillo 2017

Abrazos #winelover #wine #vino #pisco #piscolover #españa #rioja #peru — 17 days ago

Los Alamos Vineyard Pinot Noir 2015

This way over-delivers. Cranberry, black tea, bergamot, tobacco, camphor, dried mushrooms and a distinct loaminess. Perhaps a tad austere for the average bloke, with some elevated VA to boot. But this is a rather serious Pinot Noir with plenty of potential for extensive aging. I’m getting decidedly Old World vibes. — 25 days ago
