Silex Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Uniquely bright, pungent, refined. A bit austere now; citrusy, very tart, even a bit astringent, not super giving. Very elegant and fascinating, though I expected another level of concentration. Afraid it doesn’t quite add up to justify the price tag! — 10 hours ago

Napa Valley Merlot 2016

This Merlot is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. It is a pop and pour crowd pleaser that is silky, velvety and plush without the sweet clingy-ness. Just exudes luxury and at half a Benjamin a pop it is a steal, trust me. Paired with New York strip steak and mushroom and the match was fit for any king. Cheers! — 22 days ago

Blanc Fumé de Pouilly Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Pop and pour. Again, lovely. On the nose: grapefruit, gooseberry, cut grass, and a soft creamy note. On the palate: good acidity, fantastic density and creamy mouthfeel. Perfect with lobster pasta with red sauce. Yum, in the zone for my palate. — a month ago

Minervois+ Red Blend 2019

Can I swear in this app?? This wine is fucking great. Simply put, it’s one of the best red blends I’ve had lately. Spicy, peppery, a little jammy, a little soft rain leaves, mixed together to make magic in your mouth. Yum. — 2 months ago

Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Great value Bourgogne punching well above it’s weight. Dark ruby, with black cherry and interesting forest floor/cedar notes. Nice sweet ripe fruit, but with good acidity. More complex and attention grabbing than many a village Burg I’ve tasted. Glad I bought 12! — 2 months ago
