Very drinkable with a mild flavor. Pairs very well with salad since it is not overpowering — 3 years ago
Nice nose, softish tannins that opens up nicely in a couple hours. Could benefit from more time in the bottle — 4 days ago
Primarily Merlot! Bright garnet color. Ripe red and black berry fruit on the nose with hints of smoke and black pepper spice. Dark berry and plum on the pallet with hints of vanilla, forest floor and toast. Dry, fresh and nicely balanced. Medium bodied, so this one is not overpowering. Solid structure and texture along with pleasant medium tannins. Nice wine, Ron B! — 8 months ago

Garnet core quite wide brick coloured rim . Needs a bit of time for the funk to blow off then black cherry , touch balsamic mint and spicy red currant , coffee and dried herbs, earl grey tea , slightly musky after a while , really improves with air. On the palate lovely definition and balanced acidity . Fills out well with red and dark fruits , sous bois , herbal touches on the nice refreshing finish . — 5 months ago
My father has a case of these 1983 BV in his father’s wine collection. Have sat undisturbed for a few decades since my grandfather passed. Opened this for Easter dinner if braised lamb shanks. Had some cork breakage but decanted and let it breathe… it was quite delicious! Looking forward to drinking the rest of his collection! — 2 years ago

Costco had this at a really nice price point. This 2018 is delicious.. lip smacking! Tar, graphite, dark berries, dark chocolate, expresso, black licorice, violets, Rutherford dust, Forrest floor, and eucalyptus. Hopefully, I will get to visit a 15 yr old! — 20 days ago
