Outstanding example of Cali Pinot. Even more so since this is 2012 vintage. Overripe cherries and coffee notes explode on the nose. The palate displays crunchy black fruits along with syrop de cassis. Superb grainy tannins combine with bright acidity. A reference point in Sonoma/Cali.

Great white wine. Btg @ Thyme Restaurant — 2 months ago
Second time tasting this bottle. This is an entry level 1er Cru Red Burgundy by one of my favorite producers there. Color screams Pinot, and the nose takes you there: red cherry, forest, clean wet earthy scents. The palate is vibrant with ripe red fruit deep minerality, high acidity, medium alcohol, soft tannins, and plush witty finish with a whiplash cherry note on the very end. A great wine that tastes great young, and under a Benjamin too. Roars real value. Chill for best tasting experience, the coldness tames the fruit. Loving this! — 10 months ago

I frankly don’t know how we had this bottle in storage but I saw it and decided to pull it and am glad that I did! Really a lovely premier cru burg. Quite a nice soft fruit and earth character. Maybe a notch less aromatically expressive than one would want but the seamlessness and depth on the palate makes up for it. Opened a few hours ahead of time but no decant and showed very nicely. Delicious. — 21 days ago
