Easy drinking. Smooth finish. — 6 months ago
Wasn’t sure what to expect but Wow!! The nose on this one is strong and classic, think about an English saddle and then double it! Then take a sip, OMG, a red fruit juice bomb with a smokey delicious velvety texture that just won’t stop. It’s big and bold. Can’t wait to share a bottle with friends! — a year ago
This is quite a special wine. I don’t care what the others rated this. I like it. Purchased on my trip to Santa Barbara almost 6 years ago. Now I remember why I bought it at the tasting room. Nice floral bouquet, slightly acidic, light translucent color with less than 13 percent alcohol (that’s a good thing). Very good structure that would suggest this wine is in the middle innings and can probably last a few more years — 3 years ago
Talk about classy (or classic) Chardonnay, don’t matter really, this is both! This is in its own league when it comes to Chard. It’s crisp yet round, bright yet balanced, and acidic yet unctuous. Not old world but not typical Cali Chard. Must try this ABC. Cheers. — a month ago
One of the more subtle Pinots in the range. Delicate and with a lovely herbal elements to come feast the fruit. — 10 months ago
Balanced Wine, nose leads with dark fruit and spice, black cherry especially. No noticeable new oak but perhaps there is a touch, pallet leads with sour cherry, a touch of strawberry, lots of bitter herbs on the finish, tannins that are more flavorful than textural — 2 years ago

The 2021 Chardonnay Los Alamos Vineyard marries the aromatic lift of this site with a good deal of stony intensity and drive. There's an understated depth here that is absolutely beguiling. The Los Alamos is usually a more ethereal wine, but the 2021 has an added kick if mid-palate richness that is compelling. Citrus peel, mint, white pepper and chalk linger on the bright, intensely saline finish. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2023)

Entry-level Chardonnay by the legendary Jim Clendenen - perhaps the most important name in Santa Barbara wine- from three different sites in Santa Barbara County—Bien Nacido, Rancho Vinedo and Los Alamos. Barrel fermented and aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. Clean, pure nose with aromas of lemon zest, minerals (crushed stone, flint) and some vanilla and buttery notes. Fresh, bright, slightly saline, with plenty of acidity and lemony flavors. Great balance. Excellent value ⚡️ — 2 years ago

Color of bright purple with a touch of ruby note. Nose of tobacco leaves, dark fruits, blackberries, licorice, and some more strawberries. Taste is dried with ripe grapes, zest, really soft tannins, oak. 2nd sip does show hint of sweetness. Aftertaste is resonant with the taste, clean, a bit peppery, and medium long finish. Nice paid with fatty meat. — a month ago
