Bin 389 South Australia Cabernet Shiraz 2019

Referred to as the “Baby Grange,” blend of 53/47 Cab Sauv & Shiraz, aged for 12 months in American oak, partly in previous-vintage Grange casks. Dark Ruby with aromas of fresh black fruits, complex with sweet spice. On the palate flavors of juicy black cherry and blackberry flavors with notes of cacao, oak and toasty spices, from cooler vintage. Well balanced with acidity, full ripe tannins, long ending with smoky spice, fruit well integrated with oak, drink over next 10 years+, will only get better. Nice! — 2 months ago

Stags' Leap Winery

Napa Valley Petite Sirah 1977

Stags' Leap Winery was one of the early pioneers in establishing Petite Sirah as a premium varietal. The vines date back to 1893, but the block is actually a field blend of 85% Petite Sirah and 15% other unknown varietals.
Our group tasted the 1977 - 1992 vintages (32 to 47 years old). The 1977 was my favorite along with the group’s.

Cooper Garrod

Test Pilot P-47 Thunderbolt Red Blend 2016

Nose: Leather, black licorice turning to green pepper notes.
A bit hot, it relaxes a bit with a decant. Short finish, the taste doesn't offer the depth and complexity that is suggested through the nose.

Moët & Chandon

Grand Vintage Brut Rosé Champagne 2006

Copper in color with a golden hue.

Fruity nose with light yeast, light raspberries, apples, light metals and caramel notes.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and tiny bubbles.

Dry and fruit forward on the palate with over ripened apples, light red fruits, limes, citrus, spices, light yeast, sea salt, light earth and herbs.

Long finish with limes.

This is a delicious Rosé Champagne. Elegant, and a tad over it's peak. Complex and interesting.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.

A blend of 47% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. Disgorged in 2013.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$100.

Perfectly balanced. Subbed with hot smoked salmon, which otherwise is hard to pair with. I cannot remember a better white wine. $47. — 6 months ago

Château Feytit Clinet

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

What a pleasure to share with dinner @ Rocca in Burlingame. Solid cork after 47 years. Very balanced with mature fruit that did not show its age. The Merlot provided wonderful flavors of light berry compote and a deft touch of oak. Classic Bordeaux in every way. 👍👍🍷🍷 — 4 years ago
