We did a ‘14, ‘15, ‘16, ‘17 vertical tasting - highly recommend this as you get to watch the wines open up over time.
‘14 was by far and away the best, but still worth sitting on. Then, in order we liked ‘16, 17, and ‘15. The 2015 seems like it’s not going to make it as far as the others, a bit flabbier. ‘16 and ‘17 have long lives ahead of them - excited for that!
All were drinking pretty though and have varying levels of similar profiles: vanilla, cocoa, espresso, cedar, and earth tones. Hard to say no to any of them. — 3 years ago
Very clear smell of nuts. Complex. A hint of peat. — 2 months ago
Vanilla and light floral on the nose, vibrant cherry palate that packs a nice punch on acidity without going overboard, cherry follows through to end with some very light woodiness. — 5 months ago
Dark fruit. Oak. Leather.
It’s really big.
Wish I had a better vintage than 17. — 2 years ago
Found another ‘17. Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruit and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry, plum and currants with complex spice showing notes of cacao, cinnamon and rich vanilla oak. Graceful soft tannins, nice mouthfeel, great balance with acidity, long finish, ending with notes of oak, smoke and mineral notes. Nice! — 3 years ago

Beautiful, full bodied wine, 69% Pinot Noir, 31% Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards. Ripe apple, pear, lemon, raspberry, wild strawberry, brioche and pastry with a beguiling note of spice - clove, cinnamon and vanilla. Dry but Rich and seductive, very mature aromas and flavor with a long finish. Great poise and balance. — 8 months ago
