Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Catching up on tasting notes with this NZ SB while I prep the grill for dinner. Pours a very pale greenish straw color. The nose is loaded with grapefruit and a grassy note. On the palate, this slaps you with citrus and minerals. Steely. High acid. Medium finish. Refreshing on a warm summer evening.

Light golden color with green highlights. Intense aromas of fresh cut grass, tropical, orchard and citrus fruits with a slight note of white flowers. Flavors of grapefruit, gooseberries, minerals, green vegetables and herbs. Bit of salinity on the medium plus finish. Crisp acidity, bone dry and medium bodied. A bit too vegetal for my liking. Tasted at the Yardhouse in Troy, Michigan.

nice aromatic bouquet, stone fruits, sweet apricot and very forward tasting wine (not much on the final notes, maybe a hint of lime)

Fresh, tropical nose, cilantro and parsley on the front palate, finishes peachy

v22. Very good! Dusty gravel, orange blossom, and citrus nose. Fresh pear, apple and lime zest fruit. Bright mineral finish. Enjoyable!

Yes! Very drinkable. Enjoyed supping this in a warm May evening. Good price as well from Sainsbury’s.
