2011 vintage.

Much to young now

Very deep CabFranc. Elegant, full of meat, earth and rocks. Only a slow partion of fruity. Wonderful.

Years ahead of it. Appropriately green and funky. More pimento than green bell and more sage than camphor. I wish I had another bottle for the future.

Funky earth and smoke. A keeper that I showing really well.

One of the best bottles I've opened all year. A little oxygen and it's totally profound. Disclosure: We bring this in.

2011 Les Quartiers. Textbookingly delicious cab franc. A touch more weight and fruit on the palate to match the structure, this wine feels immensely in balance. I'd imagine it fine on its own, but though I wouldn't have thought to pair it with Ethiopian, I did and the results were pleasant indeed. A bottle worth repeating.

@Mesa in Zurich - the wine has lovely expression of fresh fruits, with pomegranate and cranberry accents, on a slightly spicy background.
