I have no explanation why Bourgueil continues to fly under the radar. These are chalky, minerals, sometimes fruity and wonderfully elegant wines. Here we have high toned perfumed aromatics, iodine, black peppercorn, and dark fruits. For the $17 I spent, I’m all smiles.

yes please. quite delicious. last time i said la coudraye was better, but i haven’t tried it yet! soon. this week. in the meantime this was great. dried flowers. good tannins. velvet. black cherries. granite. soapstone. buy again. from flatiron.

Dusty tannins, mellow acids, medium-minus bodied. Touch of green bell pepper, mineral, tea. From Flatiron Wines.

Great little wine. On the nose, very floral, slight green pepper, blackberries. In the mouth, blackberries and rose hips. Light and pretty with moderate dusky tannins and good acidity. Great food wine, but certainly awesome on its own.
