Mostly Grenache from 100 year old vines (and mostly from Châteauneuf-du-Pape) this is a blend of five vintages between 2010 and 2017. Medium Ruby, wonderful red fruit and garrigue on the nose with wild strawberry, raspberry, red currant, black cherry, earth, lavender, forest floor and leather. Elegant smooth tannins, long finish. Jul 9th, 2025Dazzling wine, 85% grenache, mostly from Châteauneuf-du-Pape and non-vintage to boot. Black cherry, plum, red cherry, violet, leather, beautiful, silky medium tannin, medium acidity, voluptuous texture. This is such an enjoyable wine with beautiful balance.

This was recommended by the Sommelier at The Chateau Frog Town, @Jason Keefer. Earthy nose. Very rich and dark in color. This is a big powerful wine. Blueberries and plums. Dry and little spice.

Mar 6th, 2023Big, sweet, fruit forward nose with ripe blueberries, sweet cherries, dried lavender & herbs. Plus a peppery whiff. Unabashedly Southern Rhône yet with nice purity. Maybe a touch technical, but no rusticity here. Cool & fresh.
On the palate beautifully balanced, fresh and juicy, dark fruit with a bramble mineral backdrop. The 15% alc unnoticeable.

Unorthodox yet so nice & highly drinkable.

Dec 23rd, 2022Even entry level Xavier is fantastic. Can’t produce a bad wine this guy! Balanced but earthy Rhone blend. Strong tannins still, but not overwhelming. A little herbaceousness on the back palette!

Depth and beautiful structure with silky tannins, dark fruits, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg. Full body. Plenty of time ahead for this one.
