60% touriga nacional, 25% touriga franca, 10% tinta roriz, 5% tinta francisca
Deep ruby-black color. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and smoky black plums segue a plummy, plush palate. Very ripe but with a pleasant smokiness; it tastes like port without the fortification, for good reason. Overall a delicious wine by the glass, but a good complement to roasted game, cured meats, and aged sheep’s milk cheeses.
