Langenlois Kamptal Grüner Veltliner

Attractive ripe pear, white pepper & anise spice. Lovely rounded palate but keeps it fresh.

Better than average Gruner for the price.

Last night's #GrunerVeltliner discovery. Citrusy w/ hints of pavlova. Must find more from this producer!

Absurdly delicious and refreshing / ripe nectarine, ripe apricot, vegetal notes / white pepper on palate; lentil, citrus / med+ acid and med- body with a surprisingly long finish

Been waiting a while to try. Bit forward in its sweeter agave side, almost Chenin-like in that limpid way.

Nectarine, white peach. Light acid, but enough to cut through a little bit of fat. Pairs really well with sushi.

Drank with roasted gochujang cabbage and sticky miso salmon bowl

Fantastic GV: light straw color, generous nose of orchard fruit, herbaceousness, pepper, some exotic fruit like guava and a bit spicy. Atypical from what I’ve had in the past… very round & soft on palate but still w/nervy acidity. Great white orchard fruit, musk, lanolin, on palate, smooth & delicious, would highly recommend seeking this out - not sure if this was a warm vintage, but this kicked ass.

Great rich gruner stoic as is more herb n musk than apple/citrus vibe

Very tart, almost sour. But very refreshing!
