Perhaps still burdened by it’s youth as it’s not overly complex. Admirable it’s it’s purity and precision, but length also falls a bit short.

A good quality wine, with a nice balance between the sharp acidity that is carried by the primary fruit character. Minor complexity with a mineral background is providing a serious kick.

Coming off the more-is-more 2015 vintage this might be disappointing. It's not. It's as it ever is - racy, deeply mineral, full of citrus and saline and electric energy. Yes, dialed back to 9.5 and still perfectly balanced and alive. Great value.
