Oh the glories of a well-made Silvaner! And you don’t get much better made than Klaus-Peter! @kellerdalsheim. This wine was ringing like a struck bell with honeysuckle, orange blossom water and the crackling minerality of icicles dripping in the sunlight. Pure and energetic and totally satisfying.

Autolysis, lemon, wet minerals. Massive. Electric. Seems to be closing down, but the sheer structure and weight portend greatness.

Had to crack a ‘21 and put one in the cellar for a few years. Very impressed. But of course KP nails this variety. A but rounder than Riesling with different aromatics but still that good teeth shattering acidity and minerality. Paired with khao soi.

Very well made Silvaner with clean profile. Pear, granny smith, lime, white flowers, gun powder.

2h decanting please!!! Really Exotic, mango Schale, gooseberry, pure crunchy minerals, white orange peel innards
If you don’t decant this you will miss out a lot!!!!!!

First bottle was corked, @Geoff Franz saved the day with a replacement. Mineral, muted nose. Needs time/air.
