A beautifully developed Heiligenstein, with a whiff of naphtha but also nice exotic nuances. Ripe yellow apricot, a hint of peach, some honey. Rich yet still restrained and very fresh.
On the palate this shows an amazing blend of exotic richness and cool, mineral acidity. So vibrant with amazing precision & energy. Wow!

Filigrane & floral on the nose, with shy white peach, a bit of dried apricot, lemon thyme, a hint of creamy naphtha slowly developing, which lifts with time and is replaced by spicy, flinty, stony minerality.
On the palate this starts quite light but quickly the amazing purity comes to shine. Amazing depth & power yet with such precision. Bone dry & mineral to the core and, at the same time, so juicy, so pure, so drinkable. And a finish that just goes on forever. Stunning!

Den här vingården är har väl statusen att vara Österrikes Montrachet. En riktigt frisk fruktsymfoni. A+ munkänsla. Massa lager av smak. Saliverande sälta i avslutet. Ursprungstypisk. God nu. Värd 599 kr = värd mer.
