Spicy and earthy. Again, more savoury than fruit driven. Have not had a lot of experience with German Spatburgunders. This had Medium minus palate intensity with low tannins and low acid. For short term drinking. Not bad - nothing to write home about.

Super drinkable with lotsa life. Nose has forest & fruit with a palate that is nicely weighted & #savoury. #german #spätburgunder is good!

Surprisingly fresh & light for Huber. Fresh earthy dark fruit with hint of mushroom & broth. Light yet not ethaeric, still retaining some down to earth presence.
On the palate really fine, with finely grained polished tannins and great freshness.
This evolved really nicely, reminds me more of Salwey GG. Brilliant wine!

On the palate this is cool? Juicy, fresh, so polished. Brilliant drinkability with fresh acidity, juicy dusty fine tannins, a herby, smoky, cool finish.
This is a safe bet, day in day out. I love it.

Quite Smokey. Beautiful Pinot, seems fruit driven. More plum than cherry. Closer to Cali than Burg. Baking spices. Cinnamon.

2021 summer. Many Spätburgunders have a bitter, herbal character which is a bit reminiscent of some amari. This has that too, but with red fruit and spice which reminds one of Burgundy as well.
