Nice table wine that’s not pure fruit; there’s enough acid and a little tannin here that makes it a good table wine for all seasons and most meals. Only complaint is that it lacked a little freshness, but that could be because it’s been sitting on the market shelf for a few years.

This is a fun wine. Cheap, it comes in a liter bottle with a pop top, and it tastes pretty damn good. Light, red fruit, with soft tannins. Gulpable! #Berger #Austrian #zweigelt
