Wonderful mix of barrel raised character, tense palate, racing acid and that mineral imprint many Aube wines have. Also found a real balance in the wine’s fruity ester character and the hint of aldehyde, adding savory dimension. Mix of crisp green apple/pear with a touch of bruised fruit mixed in, underripe strawberry, green banana, saline, fino sherry, chalk. 11/2018 disgorgement R16

The evenings looser; fresh, spritzy, full of nuts and stone fruit; it was perhaps not fair to drink next to a Jaquesson. Although it pulled of the brut nature part; it was not too dry at all.

From magnum. Shows a very light salmon-copper hue. Very tight and reticent on first pour with some lemony citrus notes. With an hour of bottle decant, it’s generously showing red berry fruits, hint of butterscotch and oven fresh croissant. Beautifully long with a wonderful richness for a no dosage. Why is champagne always better from magnum?

R 14, Disg 5/1/17. About 2.5 yrs since my last btl. On the nose: peach cotton candy, lemon, vanilla, soft almond notes...lovely color. Mousse is a bit aggressive to start, but with some time in the glass softens nicely. On the palate: excellent acidity...the fine mousse makes this seem weightless...srill very hi-toned with a coppery, grapefruit turn. While this is gorgeous on the nose, the palate leans a bit shrill without food. MUCH better with dinner (vegetable stir-fry with soba noodles).

Kärt återseende. Matig och lätt oxidativ i stilen med lite fina fatdrag. Röda äpplen, halm, bröd och många fina smaklager.
