Big exuberant nose. Lovely menthol, spice and cherries, really big fruit. A bit of mineral. Palate is ripe with sweet fruit and pretty big tannin. Big cherry. Good balance and power with massive sweet fruit but balanced by wonderful freshness. Will age but see no reason to age it. Very nice today.

Black licorice. I could smell this wine all day. Dried cherry. Wish there was a big bowl of pasta with me.

Nothing subtle here. Strawberry, roses, tobacco on nose. Fruit heavy with peppery finish. Big tannins. Barolo on steroids. Good for price point.

Trying to be like produttori di barbaresco.
A very good drink for the price.
Nose is cherry with some smoke.
Palate is dark cherry, firm but integrated tannins.
A barolo to drink not cogitate.
As this opens some lovely licorice.
