Excellent. Shows all the best reasons why 2019 is an outstanding vintage for white Burgundy. Not only is there lots of gorgeous and perfectly ripe fruit, you have perfect acidity and a clear mineral core to this wine. Layers of ripe orchard apples and pears, toasted almond all awash in a beautiful saline and salty finish.

Rock solid producer of Burgundy. Always very good and many at what I would call great pricing for Burgundian wine. One of my go to producers.

Paired well with our whites cheeses and the white turkey meat.

Vincent Girardin was born in Santenay, in the Cote de Beaune & part of a winemaking family dating back to the 17th century (11th generation). Aromas of crisp stone fruits with citrus notes, complex. On the palate apple and citrus flavors, lively with honey oak and spice. Well balanced, lingering finish ending with mineral tones. Nice!

2015 showing freshness and plenty of life left. Great acid and minerality.

Lemon and citrus, medium body, pairs nicely with white fish dishes. Had it with a Red Snapper dish at the Surfing Deer in Seagrofe, and it brought out the food’s flavor without overpowering the dish.

Full body and heavier in style than what I am used to from Burgundy. Very enjoyable. Ageable?
