A bit shut down, as was another bottle 6 months ago. Still- terrific intensity for its inwardness. Need to forget about this for a while. In the moment, however, it paired well with my pesto pasta and pajamas.

Layers upon layers of tangerine, orange marmalade, lime, honey and a kiss of botrytis. Great acidity with a solid mineral backbone.

Forgotten bottle in the back of the cellar. Older color but the flavors were still tart and fresh and delicious. Citrus peel and petrichor nose. Tart lemon mousse flavors. Wonderful fir its age.

May 26th, 2017Opened for 2 hours, notes of lemon zest, pineapple, fuji apples, seashell minerality and a touch of butterscotch. Rich, yet balanced and mineral, round and spicy, with a dry minerality that cleans your palate leaving you with flavors of red apples, lemon and butterscotch. Still young but approachable now if you let it breathe a couple hours.
