”Super premier cru” Tête du Clos is sourced from an old vine parcel in the upper part of Morgeot. Kind of like Chapelot of MDT. Just like the bottle I had in September, it’s electric tonight with killer yellow fruit intensity, a stunningly elegant texture, stony minerality and ripping citrusy acids. There’s such tension and drive on the palate that takes the fruit and minerality all the way home. Love these wines.

”Super premier cru” Tête du Clos is sourced from an old vine parcel in the upper part of Morgeot. Kind of like Chapelot of MDT. It is excellent tonight after just a short decant. It shows amazing purity, tension, minerality and depth of yellow orchard fruit with macadamia nut, exotic spice and fresh lilies. The palate is elegant and expansive with racy lemony acids, saline laced minerals and fantastic length. Love these wines.

Very bright. Pulsing with energy and bright acidity. Frangipane, lemon, chalk. Really full of life.

From one of my absolute favorite producers and from the “super premier cru” Tête Du Clos. So precise and linear with a tingling acid spine and pixelated minerality intertwined with exotic citrus fruits, white flowers, walnuts, crushed stone and reduction. Finishes superbly long, focused and pure. Dancer’s wines are truly exceptional.

Such a pure expression of Chassagne, it's been quite a few years since I've had his wines, it's so well balanced, lactic/crême-fraiche with a citrus custard elegance, I think one of the best examples of the appellation, it's really something else.

Grosse maturité. Un peu plus de gaz lui aurait fait du bien.
