Dec 20th, 2019Dark rich ruby colored wine. Well balanced nose of red fruits, tobacco, oak and earth. Smooth, calm palate. Flavors of cherries, red peppercorns. Strong tannins but less well balanced against the finish leaves the mouth feeling a little dry.

They usually say they save the best for last. This is not the case. The body is anorexic. Lacks something. Still, better than 95% of the stuff back home. Wine enthusiast gave this 95. Perhaps wine enthusiast is stonata.
