Awesome value close out. Aromatic and tertiary at almost a decade old with balsamic, leather, and oak on the nose. Not much primary fruit and actually quite earthy. A great compliment to the Alberdi Reserva which is more polished for the same price should you prefer a shinier style. This to me is more interesting.

Maroon with slight bricking though out. It's getting there. A balanced combo of ripe black fruit, plum, fig, and cherry, backing an oaky spiced black licorice nose with a hint of menthol. Even a hint of brown sugar. True medium body with mildly dry tannins. Prune, blackberry, black cherry, and vanilla with a hint of espresso. Great mouth feel but a bit of a sharp chewy finish that carries. I'll probably cellar 2 or 3 bottles that I think will continue to drink well over the next 3 maybe up to 7 yrs. 90

A range of beautiful, fluffy, earthy notes, surrounded by some light acidic zing and a touch of tannic astringency. Lovely!

Peppered Beef jerky, pomegranate, prune, fig, tar, fruit leather and smoke and Boysenberry fruit on the nose. raspberry rubber, rhubarb and cran/cherry on the palate. I want duck with a cranberry reduction..
