I expected a little more with this one since it was recommended. I wanted more fruit which it’s lacking. Will suffice for tonight while snacking and watching football.

Ruby color not very dark can see fingers thru easily.. Nose is red liquorish, candied cherry, a very tart cherry on the palate. Not complex at all maybe not even as good as other Morgan's but it is really delicious!

Smells like chocolate dusted sushi in a plum sauce, fresh baked rubber and buckwheat flour loaf. Dry plums with ripe tomato, dusty raspberry and a reasonably thick cloak of charcoal smoke, and silica. Grainy tannins hang about for an eternity. Solid Morgon!! Happy to have access to this gem. #morgon #gamay #beaujolais #beaujolaisrouge
