Rich Champagne Blend
The Rich gets a boost with a higher dosage (60g/l sugar). A blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier & 25% Chardonnay. Concentrated fresh red berry aromas. On the palate big ripe stone and tropical fruit notes with flavors of pineapple & citrus, vivid acidity on long sweet finish. Interesting almost a Demi-Sec, meant to be served on ice with one ingredient, try a mimosa!

Clicquot collaborated with mixologists to select the perfect ingredients to naturally enhance the wines’ flavors, while adding a unique twist. I had been gone from the table for only a moment when my golden hearted friends ordered a bottle of fizz in celebration of some recent good news. It arrived, was poured and she tried the wine and immediately grimaced at the sickly sweetness. She lent over the table and said to me, "at least it is the thought that counts, now can you choose us a nice dry Sancerre?" I'm sure the staff enjoyed the saccharin Champagne, and I enjoyed the very sweet gesture.

May 5th, 2017I’m loving the Veuve Clicquot ‘Rich’ which I picked up at Duty Free for about $90. It’s a ‘Doux’ champagne which means it sits on the sweetest end of the dry-sweet scale. The concept of this bubbles is happy hour!
It’s playful, fun and perfect for cocktail lovers. The idea is to add ice and an ingredient to the bubbles for a unique drinking experience.
There are 6 ingredients specifically chosen to enhance certain characteristics in the wine; pineapple 🍍or grapefruit for fruitiness, celery, capsicum or cucumber 🥒 for freshness or tea leaves for elegance.
Naturally I had to try them all and to be honest they were all quite nice and my choice would definitely depend on my mood.
However for me yesterday arvo it was surprisingly the tea (I just used a PG Tips teabag) and also the grapefruit 👌👌
I will definitely be buying this one again 🍾🍾🍾 #tcweekdaywine
