Surprisingly light and fresh. Ripe cherry, strawberry, and wild raspberry fruit with an earthy nose. Nice to see this kind of restraint coming out of Argentina. Minimal intervention. Better with air.

Very light color. Nose is funky initially, showing warm coffee grounds and poopy barnyard. But the funk blows off with air. Nose resolves to crushed cherry juice and moist loamy soil. Light and lean and crisp in the mouth, it was a good choice for such a ridiculously warm night. Warm summer night cookout? This would work. Drink now.

Bright red fruits on the nose and palate, a light and bright body with food-friendly acid and a little baking spice that lingers.

Loving these Ver Sacrum wines. Mourvèdre last night, garnacha tonight. Previous reviewer nails it: nice reminder that natural wine doesn’t have to be flawed. Pure fruit expression here, light, pours translucent, really pretty wine both in appearance and palate. I think these were like $17? Steal.

Brambleberry and leather. Great winter-y wine with a bit of juice on it.

Clear, bright garnet in colour showing clove, wild strawberry and red currant notes on the nose. The palate is light and juicy with some lovely subtle chalky tannins that keep it well poised in the red wine (rather than rosé) camp. Pretty decent length. A great reminder that natural wines don’t have to be flawed (and shouldn’t be when crafted by a professional).

Ver gut. Although the word “Sacrum,” I don’t know.

Delicious. Light body, pale color, tart raspberry and strawberry on the finish, balanced really well. When it is a warm summer day and you don’t want a white, this is a good choice. This is the first time I’ve had an Argentinian wine. I will have to search for others from this producer. 2017 vintage.
