This is just different. Mencia planted in 2011 in Argentina. Not like the Spanish version exactly, but not too distant. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, and blueberry with a distinct violet note. Juicy, mineral, and balanced in the mouth, with lower tannins and sturdy acid made it a great match for burgers for a pre-Mother’s Day cookout. Delicious and unique. — 2 hours ago
Beautiful dark fruit, white and black peppers, smooth tannin, medium build and well balanced. A beautiful Malbec from Uco Valley. — 5 hours ago
Deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, spice and notes of forest floor. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with floral, herb and oak. Fine grainy chalky tannins, lively acidity, long finish ending with fruit and mineral spice, tight, needs time. Nice! — 2 days ago
Pale gold; medium plus intensity aromas of yellow apple, firm apricot, firm peach, yellow plum, quince, almond, hazelnut, apple blossom; dry, medium plus acid, medium alcohol, medium plus body, pronounced intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, incredibly concentrated, tart and juicy, rich and full bodied, outstanding — 10 days ago

Named after Pepe (José) Zuccardi, who runs winery alongside his son Sebastián, 10% Cab Sauv added, deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, baking spice and dried floral notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with licorice, herb pepper and oak. Fine grainy drying tannins, lively acidity, long finish ending with fruit and mineral spice. Nice! — 3 days ago
Fragrant mountain fruit
A few hours of airtime, as per my usual.
Some tropical notes at first sip - Shea, coconut, this opens the floor up for debate on what comes next, is it the dark chocolate cherry, or cacao nibs with red stone fruits? Hard to say, except the finish is even, tannin acid balance is quite nice.
Overall this is an amazing Cab Franc. — 12 days ago
