In direct battle against de Pago (Otazu) on day 1 we thought more refinement in the Pago. The acids (lime zest) in the Bramare are very present on day 1.
Now on day 2 the air did its thing and it drinks beautifully! It remains fresh in style though.
It needs a decant of a few hours. — 8 days ago
Bright acidity clean crisp finish. Pineapple almond citrus on the nose dry. So lovely to drink even without food. Incredibly well balanced. — 4 days ago
Deep Ruby with purple edges, aromas of red and black fruit with floral spice notes. On the palate rich ripe blackberry and plum with pepper spice and oak notes. Good balance, big ripe tannins, long finish ending with spicy zest. Better an hour after opening. — 23 days ago
Nice purple colour, with pleasant dark fruit noise. Medium to full body and medium tannins. Comes with a refreshing acidity, which makes it a good wine for summer or warm climate. A good value at this price. — a day ago
Deep purple. Aromatic. Slight notes of tobacco and dark fruits. Strawberry on the pallet. The Malbec comes through. 40% Cab, 40% Malbec 20% Cab Franc. — 8 days ago
A touch of 3rd use French Oak after 30 day maceration
Heavy for a Pinot, great to introduce people to them
Nice acidity and big tart cherry

Intense Malbec. Rich deep dark cherry drenched in french oak, spicy with slight green undertones. Grippy on the finish. Had expected more however as it lacked an evolving complexity and I missed the minerality of the infinitive rock... — 9 days ago
Very fruit forward, youbg malbec, with a floral nose and a lot of body... yet not too heavy and not excessively plump. Long finish, a bit simple but well executed. — 12 days ago
