The 2020 Pinot Grigio Jesera is savory and mineral in style, as crushed stone and flinty pear give way to nuances of incense. There’s a pleasant inner sweetness here, along with silky textures and cooling acidity that makes for a highly pleasurable sip, as the 2020 tapers off with medium length and spicy. (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2022)

Walked into a beautifully curated shop near Palm Springs, California & asked for their favorite current 20$ & under bottle, & this what I walked away with. Skin contact PG, so a distant cousin to its straight, flowery relations. The color is a remarkably pale gold, gorgeous. Iodine, marzipan, grapefruit on nose.On the palate almond skin, bitter orange zest, other dried citrus. Medium plus acidity & a not viscous texture ( in a good way). Quite inviting & accessible, like a Lopez de Heredia for beginners.

Cheese rind, briny salinity, and fresh white peach. Elevated acid and body.

Really stunning copper-finish color. So you know this is going to be a different take on PG. That's the way to my heart, btw. Diving in I get sharp mineral tones, pushing a creamy profile through, with nice pear and a tangy zest. Great finish.

Luminous straw color. Intense, perfumed nose of apple, pear and lemon verbena, with a hint of tropical fruit emerging from the background. Then rich and suave with very good juicy cut to the pomaceous orchard fruit flavors. Much richer and denser than the average Italian Pinot Grigio. Finishes long and pure. Well done. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, May 2018)

Very Grigio. Almost pink-copper in color, and so flavorful. One of the best expressions of the grape, especially for the price. Will make you re-think the grape.

2011. Ripe peach aroma and long complex palate. I usually hate the flabbiness of this varietal but this has minerality and delivers well

The 2019 Pinot Grigio Jesera has a pretty pink color with copper hues strewn throughout. It’s wonderfully fresh and lifted, showing white strawberry, apple, a dusting of confectioners’ sugar and hints of candied ginger. Silky textures flesh out across the senses, weightier than expected yet perfectly balanced by brisk acids, taking on a more savory persona, as notes of peach and melon give way to zesty exotic spices. There’s an almost-Asian peppery note here coupled with the wine’s inner florals that excites the senses. The Jesera really makes the case for skin-contact Pinot Grigio and will appeal to a broad range of palates. (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2021)

Great producers better known for Sauvignon. Almost pink from skin contact. A touch of RS and lush route fruit had me in Oregon. Cleanly made and tasty. Definitely not typical Pinot Grigio.
