Dry Creek Valley Vermentino

Really nice domestic Vermentino. Shouldn't be surprised by this, but I was.

Almost cotton candy on the nose. Transitions to crunchy fruit. Tropical, light. Haven’t had anything like this

The nose alone on this wine will blow you away. More California in style that it’s Italian counterpart but don’t let that deter you the wine was absolutely amazing. Lots of floral and white fruit with a touch of right stone fruit on the end. Medium finish

Great vermentino with crisp apple and melon notes. Nice acid and salinity

Honeysuckle and grapefruit on the nose, lively acidity with citrus notes on the palate. Slightly more body than expected with petrol minerality and a touch of salinity. Good value.

With scallops and corn salad. Very citrusy and bright...delicious.

This one is so expressive and bursting with stone fruits aromas. Definitely floral and surprisingly not too much citrus zest. The finish is a bit more tart than expected but gone quickly. Medium acidity and mouthfeel. A very different style of Vermentino.

Superbly dry, nice minerality. Strong citrus notes along with more rubber on the nose. Must be because Unti is down river from the old Bridgestone factory.

Really like the Italian varietals from these guys, zippy and fleshy at the same time loved it with the wood fired octopus.
