Zarautz Txakoli de Getaria Blanco Hondarrabi Zuri

Citrus, honeysuckle, nectarine and green apple. A bit fizzy.

All slate and salt. Not great, but good.

Delicious and fun. Bone dry with just a hint of after sweetness. Effervescent and incredibly light. I could drink this all afternoon in the hot weather we are having.

Sprite with smaller bubbles. Poolside pounder was very fitting.

Fantastic bargain find from the state store. Acquired for single digits near the register and it more than delivered.

Dry and acidic

Really interesting Basque Country white. Spritzy and effervescent. Tropical fruit and lime aromas. The pallet is fruit forward with lemon, lime, green apple and grapefruit. Quite juicy with a tangy finish. Light bodied. Simple starter wine (for appetizers) but quite fun and lively.
