Zarautz Txakoli de Getaria Blanco Hondarrabi Zuri

Simple, lacking depth, just acid and lemon-lime.

Citrus, honeysuckle, nectarine and green apple. A bit fizzy.

All slate and salt. Not great, but good.

Delicious and fun. Bone dry with just a hint of after sweetness. Effervescent and incredibly light. I could drink this all afternoon in the hot weather we are having.

Sprite with smaller bubbles. Poolside pounder was very fitting.

Another solid vintage of this Basque Country white blend. Light white gold color. Aromas of orchard, tropical, white flowers, citrus fruits and wet stones. Flavors of green apple/pear, lemon/lime, nectarine and kiwi. Distinct hint of chalk dust on the medium (but very bright) finish. Slightly Frizzante, fruit forward and light bodied. Great starter, especially on a warm Summer evening. Thanks for sharing, Chris B!

Perfect after working in the sun all day. Slightly effervescent, bone dry, minerals and stone- fruit on the finish.
