Turley
Buck Cobb Vineyard Zinfandel
Very pretty. Bright, boysenberry bramble. Will age well.

Apr 3rd, 2023The lineup of 2018s is really goods. The old vine amador county buck Cobb is great for the price. Confectionary sugar, red currants and cinnamon on the nose. Smooth and soft. Not showing too much alcohol. Just really really good zin

Sep 12th, 2020Powerful Zinfandel. Needs to decant for at least two hours to really find its mojo. Explosive finish. Turley always delivers!

1 person found it helpfulDec 26th, 2016Paired nicely with a tomahawk. Needs something unctuous and fatty to pair with it.

Feb 18th, 2024Unctuous and oily for a Zin. So big it could give you a fat lip. Took a day to open up for a more pleasant flavor profile.

Jun 3rd, 2023Softest Turley I think I’ve ever had, you’d never perceive the 15% ABV. Lots of dark mushed fruit, some cedar, a little rose petal and a hint of mint. The finish is so soft with very little tannin. Paired with a bone-in Ribeye, maybe a little under-matches (the steak!).
