The lineup of 2018s is really goods. The old vine amador county buck Cobb is great for the price. Confectionary sugar, red currants and cinnamon on the nose. Smooth and soft. Not showing too much alcohol. Just really really good zin

Softest Turley I think I’ve ever had, you’d never perceive the 15% ABV. Lots of dark mushed fruit, some cedar, a little rose petal and a hint of mint. The finish is so soft with very little tannin. Paired with a bone-in Ribeye, maybe a little under-matches (the steak!).

Fancy style label and such. Narrow. Color ain’t bad. More of a regular red wine than exactly Zin. Aroma is also red wine over Zins. Maybe a hint of forest floor. Oak stuff? Flavors are smooth yet jammy. Plenty of fruity, fun flavors. Juicy. Very drinkable. Has some ‘fine wine’ stuff in the mix. This is fancy Zin. Just not my fav. It’s good though.
