Met Lindsay Hoops at a winery tasting hosted by Tim’s Wine Market in Sanford, FL. She was very gracious and signed all our purchased bottles. This new Napa Cabernet-based Rose’ undergoes a long, slow fermentation and aging in stainless steel, retaining the fresh fruit aromas and flavors of ripe peaches, guava nectar, carnations and ruby red grapefruit (bottle description). We paired it with pork roast, green beans, and brownies. Thumbs up on all counts! — 19 days ago
Decanted for 2 hrs, and still strutted like a peacock. Blue and black fruit enveloped in black currant and earthy dampness. Tannins are refined and mouthfeel is velvety. This is definitely a good food wine and will reward another 5-10 years of laying down. One my wish list selections! — a month ago
Not quite the minerality of a Chablis, but the creamy smooth texture brings out the weight and body in a unique way. This wine feels like an adequate compromise between the oaky/buttery manipulated style and the “this is what the terroir produces” expression of the grape. — 16 days ago
