
A nice fully mature Grenache. Nose shows sappy,sweet Grenache fruit with potting soil notes. Nice baking spice in the background. It shows it’s maturity more on the palate, where the fruit has taken a back seat to tertiary, old library notes. Alcohol (14.8%) starting to show on the finish.

I enjoyed this wine with a homemade flatbread with fennel, olives, white raisins and feta. It was perfectly balanced. Not too big.

Nom nom nom. Chewy and really easy drinking. Homemade strawberry jam that's well seasoned with a mix of kirsch, tobacco, dry earth, sea salt, and lemon peel.
