Rosé wine dinner at The Wheatleigh in Lenox, MA. The darkest of the rosés, this was predominantly Nebbiolo and Barbera, floral nose, red fruit on the plate, weightier than the other rosés, without being heavy. Delicious.

Musty fruit, like over ripe fruit. I drink a lot of rose and enjoy trying new ones, but don’t think this one will make the rotation. Fruit and acidity were out of balance and it was flat on the palate

I have to side here with Carl Fischer. A good rose. Dark with weigh. Mostly underripe strawberry - on the back palate touch morello cherry as it warms up just 🍓. Faintest touch of pine needles. At Sportello in Boston.
