Snow Maiden Junmai Nigori Sake

Typically stay away from nigori, but got this one in a subscription box, so I paired it with spicy Chinese chicken. Perfect smoothness and hint of sweetness. This will make a fan of anyone who says they don’t like unfiltered sake.

One of my favorite Nigoris out there. Creamy and rich with layers of lychee, flowers, peach, melon, soft cream, and a hint of citrus zest.

Creamy, with unrisen dough and sesame flavors. Less umami than higher polished junmai sakes. Hmmmm

I'm pretty new to the sake scene. Loved this full bodied, creamy nigori. Lots of honeydew melon with really powdery texture.

Yup, milky creamy style w/great floral lift w/lychee & sweet honeydew melon. At 15% - this was a bit hot and lacked stuffing... still very pleasant.

Thx Elise. Our first experience with this type of sake. It goes down easily with that curious powdery mouth feel.

Fruity, moderate alcohol.

Milky white, floral, taste profile is similar to a Belgian white.

Served in a wooden box, cloudy, unfiltered Sake- aromas of lychee and honeydew. Very nice flavors, sweet finish.
