Bolonero Castel del Monte Aglianico Nero di Troia

Lighter than a Nero di Troia... almost Chianti-like in viscosity. Can't say I didn't like it. Quite the opposite.

Blend of primarily Nero di Troia with some Aglianico blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of tart black and blue berries, tar and bitter baker’s chocolate. Flavors of cooked blackberries, black cherries and dark plums along with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco and baking spices. Long and lingering finish. Quite ripe, juicy, full bodied and concentrated. Nicely balanced and harmonious. Fantastic QPR. Excellent find!

Nose : blueberry.

Palate: tart. Flat. Unripe blueberries.

Like a well balanced Cabernet

Fair amount of tannin with dark berries

Velvety tannins ... Perfect for Italian meals

Particular taste which should belong to Nero di troia 70% & Alianico 30%. I can feel its density. @,FQ,160331

Good hefty table wine

Pepper and spice and good with the spectacular spread of sliced meats at upim in nishiogi.

グラスから立ち上がる香りはほとんどない。
かすかに立ち上がるのはアルコールと赤い果実の香りくらい。
飲んでみるとフレッシュで軽やかな果実味。なのに、旨みがすごい。軽く口に含むのではなく、普通よりも多く口に含む。本当に美味しいガブ飲みワインってこういカタチかも。
