Exceptional Primitivo from the Puglia region of Italy. Ruby in color, lovely nose, rich in flavor and depth. On the heavier side and can hold well with red meats or pasta or just about any food. At 7 years old it is very smooth. Drank in November 2025. — 7 months ago
Blend of primarily Nero di Troia with some Aglianico blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of tart black and blue berries, tar and bitter baker’s chocolate. Flavors of cooked blackberries, black cherries and dark plums along with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco and baking spices. Long and lingering finish. Quite ripe, juicy, full bodied and concentrated. Nicely balanced and harmonious. Fantastic QPR. Excellent find! — a year ago
Dark, complex and Dry…. Well done — 4 years ago
Overwhelming in a super heavy bottle. For those who like the niche of heavy Primitivo. Balanced. — a year ago
Spritzige Säure und tiefe schwere Kirsche. Sehr vielseitig und einfach gut. Abgang lang und leicht bitter.

Very soft dusty rose on the nose. Velvety soft and lush with soft red stone fruit on the palate. Almost no tannins. Light Szechuan peppercorns at the finish, but not frizzante. — 5 years ago

Opened up nicely after being decanted for a little bit and paired deliciously with a wagyu ribeye! 🍷🥩 — 3 months ago
