Tommasi Viticoltori is a family viticultural company founded in 1902 and located in Pedemonte village in the heart of Valpolicella Classico region. A blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon from a single-vineyard site called Rompicollo, which benefits from a Southern exposure. Dark Ruby with aromas of berry fruit. Rompicollo translates as “break neck” but means a tremendously steep, slippery slope.
Southern exposure with soil rich in Tufo, a volcanic rock. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 1 year in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Medium bodied with bright red fruit, dried thyme and rosemary on the nose.
Red plums, currants and smokey black fruit. Crisp and lively acidity with a clean, refreshing finish.
