Tommasi Viticoltori is a family viticultural company founded in 1902 and located in Pedemonte village in the heart of Valpolicella Classico region. A blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon from a single-vineyard site called Rompicollo, which benefits from a Southern exposure. Dark Ruby with aromas of berry fruit. The palate shows cherry and blackberry with sweet herb spice, slight notes of raisins on soft tannins. The finish is medium with an earthy mineral taste. Tremendous value. Tasting Sample.

Ripe and easy drinking. Shows more Cab than Sangiovese. Stewed dark fruit and earthy flavors. Not bad.

Almost jammy, but finishes well. Needs more "research."

Second time having this, but a different vintage. Full bodied. The colour is purple... electric. Very big. Needs some time to mellow out.
