Tommasi Viticoltori is a family viticultural company founded in 1902 and located in Pedemonte village in the heart of Valpolicella Classico region. A blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon from a single-vineyard site called Rompicollo, which benefits from a Southern exposure. Dark Ruby with aromas of berry fruit. The palate shows cherry and blackberry with sweet herb spice, slight notes of raisins on soft tannins. The finish is medium with an earthy mineral taste. Tremendous value. Tasting Sample.

Ripe and easy drinking. Shows more Cab than Sangiovese. Stewed dark fruit and earthy flavors. Not bad.

Very nice super Tuscan, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Easy to drink and pares well with pasta, red and white meat and a variety of dishes. Ruby color with pleasant nose and taste of dark cherry. Drank in April 2026. Smooth.

Dark ruby hue. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, cassis, cherry, earthy, leather, raspberry, and tar. Medium-bodied, with medium tannins and medium-plus acidity. Rounded and smooth on the palate with a long, lasting finish. Complex yet approachable. 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Decent, but a bit overripe for my taste.

2016 vintage poured in March, 2022. Has a nose of cherry and anise. Tannins drive a dry mouth feel followed by a cherry finish.
