This red was just right. Dark cherry red density. Aromas of slightly dried herbs, asphalt minerality and black stewed boysenberry.

Palate is a great acid intro to sinking flavorful red cherry. Some cola. Medium weight and a great finish of dried cherry and quick tannin.

Great easy drinker. Always a tremendous value.

Pleasant suprise. 2nd alto adige and much better than the first. Young and fresh and good for early drinking. Rhubarb and lots of red juicy fruits flavours. Good value

Creamy blueberries, sweet blackberries, a herby-spicy touch. Mid weight on the palate with nice acidity and good length. Nice.

Good value! Warm but Not heavy. Blueberry, cherries, herbal, slightly mineral and smokey, dark chokolate in the finish. Drinks very well.

Raspberry jam, grilled herbs, spices and juniper berries are some of many notes that inform the 2012 Lagrein Turmhof, a varietally expressive, supple Alto Adige red that will drink beautifully over the next few years. (AG)

Blackberry and smokey cedar nose with a plush palate of similar flavors + black tea and licorice. Lovely refined tannins. A bit bolder and fuller palate than I expected but awesome. Drink now after a little decant.

Jar of blackberry & blueberry preserves and light uncracked pepper on the nose. Cola, dry, lovely Bing cherry finish on the tongue. Fantastic wine.
