Beautiful ripe plum and chocolate notes balanced with acidity. Perfect pairing for some game or even beef prepared in a mild way. Give it a try if you are a Merloy fan — 7 years ago

2016 vintage. Truly excellent example of the variety! Tangerine, orange blossom water, a little powdered-sugar-off-the-lokum, lychee, Fuji apple, somewhat herbal impression, complete lack of oiliness. Would make a great cheese wine...though at the retail world's suckiest price point: $20.99. — 6 years ago

Impressive taste but no aroma — 8 years ago
This was bit better balanced last summer where the upfront fruit carried over the oak. Lots of green apples, melon and some honeysuckle. On palate it's agsain driven with hints of oak, grapefruit and green apples. Went excellently with creamy pasta — 8 years ago
