The Riebke Barossa Shiraz

Tried this blind. Thought it was a Cali Cab. Totally off. A bit peppery. Sure... it’s a Shiraz.

I don’t typically drink Shiraz, but I very much appreciate this one, and I like it quite a bit. Super smooth with a nice spicy finish.

Definitely rich chocolate and wood. A suggestive fruity sweetness too, despite its dry nature. A good Shiraz, if Shiraz is your thing.

Showing it is from the excellent 2012 vintage. Berry fruit and dark chocolate. Jam packed with flavour. Satisfying, full bodied and very easy to drink. 17.5.
